Bribes Blind the Eyes of the Wise and Corrupt the Decisions of the Godly

“Appoint judges and officials for yourselves from each of your tribes in all the towns the Lord your God is giving you. They must judge the people fairly.  You must never twist justice or show partiality. Never accept a bribe, for bribes blind the eyes of the wise and corrupt the decisions of the godly.  Let true justice prevail, so you may live and occupy the land that the Lord your God is giving you. — Deuteronomy 16:18-20

네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 각 성에서 네 지파를 따라 재판장과 유사를 둘 것이요 그들은 공의로 백성을 재판할 것이니라  너는 굽게 판단하지 말며 사람을 외모로 보지 말며 또 뇌물을 받지 말라 뇌물은 지혜자의 눈을 어둡게 하고 의인의 말을 굽게 하느니라  너는 마땅히 공의만 좇으라 ! 그리하면 네가 살겠고 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅을 얻으리라  — 신명기 16:18-20

»Nombrarás jueces y funcionarios que juzguen con justicia al pueblo, en cada una de las ciudades que el Señor tu Dios entregará a tus tribus.  No pervertirás la justicia ni actuarás con parcialidad. 거짓 일을 멀리하며 무죄한 자와 의로운 자를 죽이지 말라 나는 악인을 의롭다 하지 아니하겠노라
